Water Heater Leak Results in Buckling Hardwoods

This water loss was caused by a water leak originating from the water heater in the attic area. It leaked down into the bathroom of the master bedroom and after only a brief period of time, began to cause the beautiful hardwood flooring to buckle. SERVPRO arrived on the scene and had no choice but to remove the damaged flooring so that drying equipment could be set. Luckily for the homeowners, the leak was caught in time that the damage was isolated to the bathroom and closet area. After a few days of drying, SERVPRO got moving and was able to finish the repairs within a few short weeks.
